Sunday Gatherings

Sunday Worship Gatherings

We gather every Sunday to worship, praise, pray, and sit under the teaching of God's Word. Our gatherings begin at 10:00 AM, and usually last about 80 minutes, though we govern our time by the movement of God's Holy Spirit, not our watches.

Our Worship gatherings include music from nearly every genre of  Christian Worship Music, spanning thousands of years. We love to sing the ancient hymns of our faith, but we also love to rock out with the new music being written by today's leading worship songwriters. In any given service, we try to include music that will appeal to everyone! Even still, we are reminded that our worship and praise is not for our benefit, but rather it is a gift to God! So, let's just come together and make a joyful noise!

The Lord's Supper at CFCC

At CFCC we practice observe an open table whenever we celebrate the Lord's Supper.  This means that anyone is welcome to join in the feast as we remember what Jesus Christ completed for us in his death on the cross of Calvary.  However, we also expect that those who gather with us at the table have rightly understood the importance of the meal, as well as the purpose of the meal, and would agree with us in the following ways:

Special Worship Opportunities

From time to time we gather for special worship opportunities, or we gather at a time other than 10:00 AM on Sunday morning. Occasionally, we will gather for an evening worship service, a revival service, or a testimony service.  In the summer months, we like to gather outdoors, and try to have at least three outdoor worship gatherings each year. Outdoor gatherings take place on our West Lawn, at the corner of Bloomingdale Road and Washington Streets in Bloomingdale.  For exact dates and times of these services, be sure to check our church calendar
